Highland’s Summer Jam Car & Bike Show

When: Tomorrow, July 11 @ 10:00AM
Where: Highland Baptist Church
Cost: Free & Donations Accepted
Activities: Car & bike show, free food, door prizes, vendors, live music, Kidz Zone with jumps and activities, dunking booth, mechanical bull and more!

John Milham Percussion Camp

When: July 14-17
Where: Lauren Rogers Museum of Art
Cost: $75 per person.
Activity: Participants ages 7 & up will learn about all the different types of percussion and drums from around the World. They will get a chance to play rhythmic games that will build their “inner” sense of rhythm while playing together in a drum circle format. A concert will be performed for the parents at the end of the week! Click here for more information.

2nd Annual “Calling All Dawgs” Event

When: July 16 from 6:00 – 8:00PM
Where: Laurel Country Club
Cost: $20 Adults / $5 Children
Activity: Join us for the 2nd Annual Calling All Dawgs event! All Mississippi State fans in Laurel-Jones County and surrounding counties are invited to attend.
Featured guest speaker will be, MSU Defensive Coordinator, Manny Diaz. In addition to a meet and greet with Coach Manny Diaz, there will also be several former MSU players in attendance. Individuals are encouraged to bring a camera and an item to have autographed. This will be a FUN family night for all MSU fans that you will not want to miss! Don’t forget to bring your COWBELLS! Where: LJC Library / Laurel Location

Downtown Laurel Farmer’s Market

When: Thursdays from 4:00 – 6:30PM
Where: Studio 5 Fifty, Central Ave. Downtown Laurel
Cost: Free
Activity: The summer Farmer’s Market is as much a part of Mississippi life as magnolia trees and sweet tea! Enjoy the bounty of local farmers, the craftsmanship of local artists, and the sweet treats offered by Laurel’s finest bakers and home cooks. Downtown Movie Night

When: Thursdays @ 8:00PM
Where: Pinehurst Park, Downtown Laurel
Cost: Free!
Activity: Downtown Movie Night, sponsored by Central Sunbelt Federal Credit Union, has become a summertime must for families in Laurel! Come out and enjoy a movie with the family on the big, outdoor screen behind Pinehurst Park. When: Open all Summer, Dawn to Dusk
